The spring 2025 Teaching with Technology series will include sessions on Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) and classroom technologies that can be used to increase student engagement.

The Teaching with Technology (TwT) series, offered by Teaching and Learning with Technology as a part of University Libraries, is a set of virtual workshops that showcase University-approved educational technologies. Instructors will learn how to use technologies like Generative AI, among others, to enhance their course content, increase student engagement and ensure their content is digitally accessible.

Sessions for the spring semester will run through April 2025. Register for the full list of days and times of the TwT program offerings.

On Tuesday, April 8, and Wednesday, April 9, from 1 to 2 p.m., “Using Generative AI in Course Design,” will teach participants to request input from generative AI at various stages of a course design process. The workshop aims to highlight how to integrate generative AI systems into classes; how to use it as an assistive technology to scale efforts related to assessment planning and content generation; and also spark innovative inspiration. Attendees are encouraged to bring their syllabus or course goals and objectives to this session.
